Company Profile

1st Generation: Peterson Movers is rich with family heritage as it has remained in the Peterson family.  The company was founded in 1946 by John Peterson in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

2nd Generation: After working for his father for many years, James Peterson took over the family business in 1978 and became the 2nd generation owner of Peterson Movers.

3rd Generation: After Technical College and working for his father since 1978, Mike became the 3rd generation owner of Peterson Movers in 2001.  In particular, Mike added excavating to the business, which allowed him to better serve his customers.  Mike is currently a member of the IASM (International Association of Structural Movers), the Wisconsin Building Movers Association, where he is currently the president and has served as past president, and the Midstates House Movers Association where he also served as a past president.
